Shipping policy
We have only just started selling online (July 2020), so are currently only set up for shipping within the UK. We do hope to ship internationally at some point, but if you are within the EU and desperate for our items, please do message us on barbarylanebrighton@yahoo.com and we will see what we can do.
UK orders are posted via Royal Mail. Unless specifically requested, it's unlikely that orders below £40 will have any tracking.
Delivery Times
We always aim to get orders made and posted in the quickest possible time.
We try to ensure that all orders are dispatched within five days of receipt. Orders normally arrive within 2-3 working days of dispatch for UK orders and within 7-12 working days of dispatch for International orders.However this is the responsibility of our chosen delivery service Royal Mail, not that of Barbary Lane Ltd.
When signing up for an account it's important to use a current email address or phone number so that we can contact you with any potential order issues and so that you receive your shipping notification and know when to expect your order.
Royal Mail do not consider a package to be officially lost until 15 days after the expected delivery date (around 18 days after despatch for UK orders and 25 for International orders). In the unlikely event that your package seems to have been lost, please contact us after the aforementioned time period has lapsed via the Contact Us link at the bottom of the site.
Returns Policy
We will happily accept returns. However, as a small company we ask that mail order returns are sent back to us within 14 days of receipt. Goods returned within 14 days will be refunded or exchanged as long as they are in a resaleable condition, without signs of use or wear.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
- Custom or personalised orders
- Earrings and nose studs (for health/hygiene reasons)
- Underwear and hotpants
If you wish to return an item for any reason, please contact us first. We ask that you return the item(s) to us in its original condition. The item/s MUST be properly wrapped and packaged to protect it in transit, because if the item arrives broken we cannot then process the return. The consumer is responsible for the cost of shipping in these cases.
Christmas 2021 update
Last ordering/posting for Xmas delivery is Saturday 20th December.
We offer free collection of items for orders from the shop with a minimum 24 hrs notice by arrangement via e-mail at barbarylanebrighton@yahoo.com. Click on Pick Up at checkout to remove postage costs if picking up in person.
